Bilbo has done it again, won his class at Chiltern and Thames Championships, held at Herts County Showground, and took the youngstock championship, well done Hayley and Billy.
Also this month, Hewi has gone away to be broken so watch this space.
31st May, Safi., Penbee Red Rose had a beautiful colt by Broughton Royal Playboy, unsure of colour yet, either very dark bay or black, four white socks and he has the most beautiful head, already cob trotting like a good 'un, think we could have some serious fun with this little man. We have named him Pendancer Donny Darko.
On May 2nd we saw the arrival of Pendancer Danny Zuko, first foal this year by our stallion Broughton Royal Playboy and out of Penbee Midnight Solitair. It is Soli's first foal and she is taking to it very well. The foal is already a friendly cheeky chap and if he inherits both mum and dads nature he will be anyone's friend. It appears he has four white socks, and he has the most beautiful head and has got dad's shoulder.
We are extrmely pleased with this little chap, Hewi and Soli, you have done us proud.
Our wonderfully little D mare has completely surprised us, on the 21st Janaury she foaled, totally unexpected, she has a wonderful little colt, a big white blaze and four big white socks, he is by the section C stallion Oakmill Leonardo (Oakmill Llywelyn x Moorcroft Desire), both mum and baby are doing fine, luckily we managed to bring them in when he was only a few hours old as the weather since has been horrendous, he is doing well and quite happily tucking into the milk bar and mum's feeds, think by weaning he will be a little tank on legs. As mum is only 14 hands we are expecting this little man to be a full up section C , watch this space.
