My passion for this beautiful breed began way back in the eighties although I never actually owned my first true welsh cob until 1997, with a few partbreds and coloured cobs in between. In 2000 we purchased Budore Rose of Tralee as a five year old, Zee is now thirteen and we have not looked back since. We are only a small stud with a group of mares and our stallion Broughton Royal Playboy. If asked what I found so appealling about this breed I could not pinpoint any one attribute as lets face it there is far more to the Welsh Cob than just a pretty face. Beauty, presence, movement and (in my opinion) very strong characters all add up to make this wonderful breed.
We are based just a few miles from Builth Wells and the Royal Welsh Showground, visitors are most welcome.
